Some of the 2024+ Jeep Wrangler and Gladiator models are equipped with side impact airbags that deploy from the roll cage. It is crucial that with those models the handle is installed such that the strap portion of the handle is as far forward (toward the windshield) on the roll cage as possible to not interfere with the safety of the occupants.
